Default vs Our Bet

We don't build quietly.
And we don't sell PoCs.

The default in Japan

Build quietly to avoid failure.
Sell PoCs as revenue. That's consulting in disguise.
Slow iteration. Never becomes a product.

Our bet

Benchmark US & Chinese teams — ship rough, iterate in public.
Sell product, not PoCs.
PoC = where the product gets battle-tested.

Act 1 — January 2026

We launched something rough.
On purpose.

omakase.ai/robotics — the public face of Omakase OS.
Tiny scope. We shipped anyway.

Then something we didn't plan for happened.

Act 2 — The unexpected door

A public release beats
a perfect deck.

Within weeks of launching, two doors opened we couldn't have pitched our way into:

1. Public launch

omakase.ai/robotics
Jan 2026 — rough, public, real.

2. Unitree

First Unitree
technical partnership in Japan.

3. Tsukuba

University Hospital
PoC opportunity.

Act 3 — Tsukuba University Hospital

Our product, tested in Japan's
hardest QA lab.

Hospitals in Japan are unforgiving:
regulation, elderly patients, infection control,
zero room for error.

Exactly why we picked it. If our product survives here, it survives anywhere.

Act 4 — Make it visible

Doing the PoC isn't enough.
We made sure people saw it.

Most JP startups skip this step. We pushed the story to media on day one.

The result

Real demand finds you.

Inbound now arriving from real businesses with real problems:

Hospitals
Airports
Train companies
+ more verticals

The best PoC partner isn't a friend.
It's a real business with real demand.

Let's build robotics globally, together.

Hiring engineers in SF · Tokyo
who want to ship robotics in the real world.
